Spawn Locations

This is a short guide to where we have found that different types of Pokemon have been appearing. This is still a work in progress.

Bird Pokemon:

We have found them in homes, parking lots, trees, and outdoor fountains.

Bug Pokemon:

We have found them in homes, fields, theaters, and outdoor grassy areas.

Electric Pokemon:

We have found that they tend to appear near outdoor street lights, electrical power stations, and during thunder storms.

Fire Pokemon:

We have found them at fire stations, gas stations, car body shops, garages, and outside on hot Florida sunny days.

Ghost Pokemon:

We have found them at dusk, at night and any time after the sun has gone down. We have also found some in cemeteries and funeral parlors (please don’t go chasing Pokemon in either of these places, we didn’t).

Grass Pokemon:

We have found them in parks, fields, and the grassy areas in mall parking lots.

Rare Pokemon:

We have not found any yet. 🙁

Regular Pokemon:

We have found them in parks, housing communities, and gaming stores.

Water Pokemon:

We have found them in bath tubs, around canals, lakes, pools, sinks, near hoses, fountains, and at the beach (South Beach and Daytona Beach that we know of. Please be careful around bodies of water in Florida, lot’s of alligators and they aren’t Pokemon for sure.)

*It is up to you, the player if you want to venture out to any of the places mentioned on this page. Pokemon Go Florida takes no responsibility of any actions or liabilities for anyone who decides to do so.
