The Pokémon Company International announced a new expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Mega Evolution—Perfect Order drops at participating retailers worldwide on March 27, 2026.

This expansion brings more Mega Evolution Pokémon to the TCG, first discovered in the Pokémon Legends: Z-A video game. It’s also the first expansion from the Mega Evolution Series set in Lumiose City, where the Pokémon Legends: Z-A story takes place.

Four powerful Mega Evolution Pokémon ex are making their TCG debut: Mega Zygarde ex, Mega Starmie ex, Mega Clefable ex, and Mega Skarmory ex. Mega Evolution Pokémon ex cards come with high HP and attack damage, but they give up three Prize cards when knocked out.

The expansion includes four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, nine Pokémon ex, 11 illustration rare Pokémon, 18 ultra rare Pokémon and Trainer cards, and six special illustration rare Pokémon and Supporter cards. You’ll find Mega Evolution—Perfect Order in booster packs, Elite Trainer Boxes, and various collections at retailers worldwide.

Players can get their hands on the expansion early through Prerelease tournaments. These tournaments run through the Play! Pokémon program starting March 14, 2026 at participating independent retailers.

The digital version launches even earlier. Starting March 26, 2026, players can play with Mega Evolution—Perfect Order through the Pokémon TCG Live app on iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows. The app lets you collect and battle with the new Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, plus you get in-game bonuses just for logging in.
