Forget dinner and a movie. There’s a different way to spend Friday night in Orlando, especially if you’ve got a binder full of Pokémon cards and a few trades you’ve been meaning to make.
Central Florida Trade Nights is setting up at a new Orlando/Winter Park location on Friday, October 16, 2026, bringing together local collectors for an evening of trading cards, deals, and plenty of TCG conversation.
The event takes place at The American Legion on Lee Road, with vendors representing Pokémon, Disney Lorcana, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, and other trading card games.
And the best part? Admission is completely free.
Unlike a traditional card show where you might spend most of your time shopping, trade nights give collectors a chance to interact with other people who share the same hobby. Bring along some cards you’re willing to part with, see what other collectors have available, and maybe work out a trade that makes both sides happy.
Of course, not everybody is looking to trade. Some people are trying to finish a set, others are after particular characters, and some are simply interested in seeing what’s available from different vendors.
Central Florida Trade Nights already has a lineup of participating sellers listed on VendorDex, including RipTide Gaming, S&M Collectibles, Capy TCG, and several other familiar names from the local trading card community.
There’s also a useful feature for collectors who prefer to do a little homework before heading out. VendorDex allows participating sellers to list cards online, giving attendees a chance to search available inventory and locate vendors on the event floor.
That could save some time if you’re looking for something specific.
Central Florida Trade Nights Orlando takes place Friday, October 16, from 6 PM to 10 PM at The American Legion, 1912 Lee Road, Orlando, Florida 32810.
Four hours of trading cards, local vendors, and free admission sounds like a pretty decent alternative to spending another Friday night scrolling through online card listings.
Besides, negotiating a trade in person is a lot more entertaining than waiting for somebody to answer your message about a card they’ve had listed for three months.
